Here's a lino that was made for Mother's day 2012. I'd been looking through Andrew Waughs's fab blog thismeanswaugh.blogspot.co.uk/ and came across his lino cuts. They are lovely an simple but soooo effective. So, inspired I thought it might be a nice idea to have a go with the kids (here's the link to their work) . I started mine during last period on Friday and finished the cutting after tea. Madly printed it on Saturday when Kerry was out doing the weekly shop.
Quite pleased with the outcome. If I was to attempt this again I would probably simplify the background design, it got a bit messy in the hair area.
